Dominique Easter, Founder/Executive Director, Kids Opportunities to Succeed (KOPPS) a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing youth with structured sports programs, mentorship, and life skills development.
A graduate of Wilberforce University in Dayton, Ohio, Dominique earned a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services with a minor in Psychology. Early in his career, he worked in behavioral health settings before pursuing a career in law enforcement. Dominique later served as a Deputy Sheriff with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, where he developed a strong commitment to community safety, mentorship, and youth engagement.
Motivated by his passion for youth development and athletics, Dominique founded KOPPS to create accessible and affordable opportunities for young people to participate in organized sports while receiving mentorship and guidance. The organization serves youth ages 5–14 through leagues and tournaments in flag football, basketball, soccer, and baseball, while also emphasizing character development, teamwork, discipline, and leadership.
Through KOPPS, Dominique is focused on building programs that provide structure, mentorship, and positive pathways for youth while strengthening families and communities. He is committed to developing sustainable programs that combine athletics, mentorship, and community engagement to support the long-term growth and success of young people.
